Our Statement of Faith

 

We believe in baptizing as commanded by the Lord Jesus Christ(Matthew 28:19) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son, and of the Holy Ghost(Acts 2:38) Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission  of sins, and ye shall receive the give of the Holy Ghost.

 

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost and speaking with other tongues is the initial Evidence.

 

We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament are God’s inspired Word, and that they are the only rule of faith and practice.

 

We believe that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, that He was conceived of the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary,  crucified, buried,and resurrected  from the dead, ascended into heaven and now is at the right hand of the Father

 

We believe in the doctrine of original sin, and that man is unable to recover himself from the fallen state he is in by nature.

 

We believe that repentance is commanded of God and necessary for forgiveness of sins.

 

We believe that all have sinned; that justification regeneration and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.

 

We believe that holiness is God’s standard of living for His people; and that there is eternal life for the righteous and everlasting punishment for the wicked.

 

We believe that divine healing is included in God’s plan of Salvation.

 

We believe in the observance of the Lord’s Supper.
